Six Sentence Sundays 7/29/2012

Hello and thank you to my readers, and those of you who take the time to comment.  It's been a long week with the release of "Bridging The Gaps" on eBook.  Plenty of excitement.  Speaking of which, here's some excitement from the novel...

We're joining Ellen and Henry in chapter twenty.  They've been watching a romantic movie together and as one thing leads to another, Ellen pulls back.  Henry senses her confusion and tries to ease her mind, while making sure she knows how he feels.

"...You’re very special to me, and I’m not going anywhere. When you’re ready, I’ll be here.” He leaned over and kissed her so thoroughly she couldn’t have given her name if asked.  He leaned his forehead against hers for the space of a few seconds. “Goodnight, Ellie May.”
It wasn’t until she heard his car pull out of the driveway that her pulse began to slow down to a normal level.

Oh, Ellen.  There is such a thing as being too cautious.  But don't worry, I promise she'll get over it.  Which reminds me to remind you to get on over to the Six Sentence Sunday site and find yourself some more snippets of awesome to read.

Kate

Hey Kate, I hope you don't mind, but I tagged you in the Next Big Thing Blog Challenge. I had a great time answering the questions.
